What was SAPI 4 distributed with/on, and when?

After some research, it appears that I am really stuck with SAPI 4 for this project, for two primary reasons:
1. Other pieces/controls are written using SAPI 4, like the SDK that Dragon NaturallySpeaking uses.
2. It appears that Microsoft damaged some of the close control that SAPI4 offered when they put out SAPI5. The whole idea of this project is to provide a good bidirectional Voice interface, using Dragon NaturallySpeaking as the voice input. This includes the necessity to quickly shut down either the voice input or output under various interrupting conditions, select the best speech engine from a list of vague wishes, be multilingual, etc., which all appear to have been eliminated when Microsoft purchased a "better" speech technology to include in SAPI5.
Anyway, I now have my program working with SAPI4 pieces that found their way onto my computer from unknown sources (probably the Dragon SDK), but I do NOT have a full distribution SAPI4 to work from. Hence, I probably can't distribute my application unless I can come up with a full copy of SAPI4.
Of course, there are countless MSDN disks for sale on eBay, but no one bothers to list everything that is on them. I would just purchase one of them, probably for less than $10, and be done with this problem, if only I knew what SAPI4 came out on and when.
Alternatively, if you happen to have an old and dusty one of these laying around, I'll gladly pay you for it.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance.
