and I get the following error:
fatal error M0006: unable to pre-process input file

I just need to make an activex control safe for scripting and and
SafeForInitializing.

Add a reference in your project to the IObjSafe.TLB type library as found on your MSDN CD's and then Implement the IObjectSafety Interface setting the parameters as required.
