errr... I think once a post is in a newsgroup, it's there forever, or until the moderator decides it's past it's 'use by' date and removes it (if there's still a moderator)
By now it has propagated to lots of servers, and newsgroup 'bots have probably stored it into some archives as well.
try looking up your post in the Google newsgroups - I bet you find it
