Executing UpdateBatch Asynchronously ?

Thanks a lot for you Advice William.

Actually in my application, the users who are not connected to the
server will load an Excel file with data and send it to us.
We then will read and import the data from excel to SQL Server table.

This is the place where i use UpdateBatch and my application freezes
for a long time if the Excel contains more than 1000 Rows.

What would be the best way to tackle this scenario ?
