Sorry to be a pest, and perhaps a dumb one, but:
-- All that's available for download is the .MSM file (not the .MSI file)
-- I downloaded (saved) the .MSN file but don't know how to use/run it
-- I found out during the course of things that the Installer is on XP systems
-- I don't follow your input about the Run Command
I guess my net question is how do I run Windows Installer. By the way, if
you're from Microsoft I recommend that the KB article be improved to provide
specific content about the fact that the Installer is on XP systems and that
the referenced updates are not applicable. I realize that such can be
"derived by exception" but specific content is preferable.
