The user's system may be configured to use Acrobat Reader as the helper
application for PDFs, not the full Acrobat product. Did you try
re-associating PDF with Acrobat? You can do that by right-clicking on a
PDF, and choose "Open With". Find Acrobat, and check "Always use this
program..."
