Hi Gizele,
    Unfortunately, CR does not provide a simple way of turning tool tips
off.
    This was Brian Bischof's response to a recent poster who had the same
issue:

Hey Oli,
You are very close. CR.NET lets you use the formula Chr(9), but you
have to assign it to the Tool Tip Text property using the Format Editor.
It's
under the Common Tab of the Format Editor and then click on the Formula
button.
