Thanks for your posting!
Based on my understanding, you have trouble to running VB6 control in a
Citrix environment.
As for the question you mentioned, it may influence in the Terminal
environment due to there may imply more than one user use that.

Currently I think you may try to isolate the problem first.
If we use RDP which is also in the Terminal environment, if more than one
user connect to the terminal server, will the problem reproduced.

Also Citrix as a third party solution based on terminal services will be
another problem in the scenario, because I have encountered some scenarios
that the problem occurred on Citrix only.
if this is the case, I do recommend you contact Citrix direct who know more
about how the citrix is implemented.
