It'd be easier to just plug in a COM card, and have
REAL serial ports. Although, I'd have to wonder
what kind of machine doesn't come with COM
ports to begin with... you MAY have a header for
one or two of them on the motherboard, and it's
not switched on... that's a faily common occurance.
