MSCOMM DSR detection, whcih speed is boundary?

    There is a problem about VB6 MSCOMM DSR pin detection.

    I want my VB6 to detect/sense the DSR signal by a external IR circuit:

    The circuit is work good with Girder software.

    Right now, I want to control it by VB6, but MSCOMM never reponse the DSR changes.

    Why?

    Too fast to detect? ( About 1 MHz signal )
