Hi all

I have used the multimedia control to play stereo audio .wav files from VB6
on a number of occasions. Now I'd like to do the same with a multichannel
sound card. Can anyone shed any light on how I can route .wav files to
different outputs on a sound card with, say, eight channels, under the
control of VB? I would be running it on Windows XP.

I would consider buying an ActiveX component to replace the multimedia
control if that's the right way to go.

Many thanks for any assistance.

Stuart
