Is the server written by yourself or someone else Uriel? I just wanted to
confirm that the server side doesn't involve running VB6 code inside IIS/ASP
as there are potential threading issues. However, your symptoms seem to be
specific to certain client machines anyway.

I used to use zonealarm and got rid of it very quickly. I seem to remember
that it's not straightforward to deactivate or uninstall it since the
Service (truevector?) still runs in the background. It might be worth
explicitly stopping the service if you haven't already done that

The transfers are small. The errors ocurred randomly, some requests

fine and the pother no.
I changed the AspMaxRequestEntityAllowed but it still with problem.

Sorry Uriel, I missed the bit about XP. :-)

Are you trying to transfer a large amount of data, or does it fail on
all
requests? The IIS meta-base has a parameter which can limit the transfer
size (AspMaxRequestEntityAllowed). I think under IIS 6.0 this limits the
transfers to about 200K. It's worth checking to see if that's different
across your installation machines.

Any suggestions ?
