Which version of .NET do you recommend people to use which will avoid
having
to re-write in a year's time when it is updated to the next version?

I have asked you this question before, but you don't seem able to reply!!

That's because it is a stupid question. We've had dot net a lot longer than
a year now with only 1 major upgrade which was pretty painless. What exactly
are you expecting to happen in a year?
