Yes, you will find it. However, if you use this driver, you will (I
INSIST!!!!!) mist the point I DO NEED.
I need to be able to print using internal printer font, with perfect control
on page length, while been able to rely on exact metrics.
If I use the Windows XP driver, tough luck with the internal printer fonts!
If I use the Generic Text Printer, which normally should address dot-matrix
printers, in native mode, tough luck with the f... metrics that Bill Gates
scraped. Tough luck also when you will reach "end-of-page", because Windows
will add a FormFeed eventhough you try any match of useless settings.
I do need printer internal fonts, I don't want Windows to interfere with the
paper size, neither with the "end-of-physical-page" or whatever Windows
thinks it is.
No damned printer driver offers me both, except if I do REVERT to Windows
95/98.
Can somebody understand the problem, and also the source of the problem? Is
there a solution, except to revert to good old MSDOS times, when Big Brother
Bill Gates didn't try to decide for us what should be a efficient printer
driver ?
