Problem restoring VB6 app from the taskbar

We have an in-house written vb6 app, running on windows xp 10.09. When you
>minimise a window then click the app on the taskbar, it has no effect. The
>only way to restore the window is to right click the app on the taskbar
>then select the close option, then restart it. This happens at random, and

Any ideas anyone?
