My understanding was that they purchased the app already written in VB from
another company and whether it stays in VB or not is not known yet. That
may not be correct.
Even if MS did create it using VB a single example is not very compelling
compared to the number of apps written in C++. I'd expect that if any
dotnet language is used it'll be primarily C# with maybe just enough VB.Net
thrown in to be able to claim that they do use it.
