vb6.exe crash while debugging

I'm running VB6 SP6 on Win2K server SP4. Just this weekend, I started getting
crashed in the VB IDE while debugging. Sometimes it's not even while
executing a step, it can just be as I move the mouse around in the code
window. I've run disk and memory diagnostics, machine seems OK (besides,
nothing else is crashing). Can't think of anything new I've installed or did
to the code other than general development (i.e. no new dlls, etc). Pretty
standard app, does some ADO work with SQl Server 2000, that's about it.
When it crashes, I get a "memory could not be read" error on vb6.exe.
It's crashing several times per day, which puts just a wee bit of a damper
on productivity. Anyone ever get this kind of instability before? Any clues
on what to look for, change, reinstall, etc?
Thanks in advance!
J.
