    Have you tried the attachment of my test project I post in my last post?
    Did the problem persists?

    So far I think you may try to use other debugger to attach to the vb6
    program.
    e.g. the windbg which is a good alternative.

    Since I can not reproduce the problem on my side, while the program may
    need low level debugging and dump analyze, I recommend you can contact
