Hi
Since installing SP6 I have had periodic problems with SQL 2000 Enterprise
Manager (not the database itself). The problem occurs sometimes when I
right-click on any of the objects in Enterprise Manager and expect to get a
context-sensitive menu. Sometimes, this sends EM into a distressed state -
it stops responding and my network activity icon in my sys tray looks
permanently on.
I can kill the app, but the state of the networking on the computer does not
recover. Needless to say I also have my database diagrams disappear.

I also have a problem with a VB add-in I wrote that utilises the VB6
extensiblity library and the MS Office library (for integration into the VB
6 IDE toolbar). If I start Enterprise Manager before I start VB, the add-in
fails to add some of the buttons, and gives an error message 'Method '~' of
object '~' failed'. If I do not start EM before VB, there is no problem.

I have reformatted my machine and re-installed everything, but the problem
is still there.
Details:
Win XP sp1
VB6 SP6
SQL Server 2000 SP3
Office 10
Latest Internet Explorer

Anybody else having problems with Add-ins, or noticed any more SQL Server EM
problems?

Thanks
Matt
