Wouldn't it be easier to remove it from the Quick Launch and have your
owner/admins access it through Site Actions | Site Settings?
Regular lists/libraries will not display on the QL for users who do not have
permissions to read them.

1) how to hide view all site content based on permission?I want to make it.
hidden from all but owners/admins and another non admin group. Some article
suggests to do it by changing permissionstring attribut in the masterpage to
manageweb.this makes it hiddedn from everybody including admins/owners.
2) I also need to do this for some other links (not default ones for team
site),will it be same as doing 'view all site content'
Thanks in advance
