Farm/Web/Site Administrator Unable to Edit Document Libraries, more...

This is driving me nuts and any advice is truly, truly appreciated.

I have a subsite with unique permissions that will not let those with
"Full Control" edit properties of a list.

I can add items to lists, I can add members, I can edit items.

I can't do other things, which is the part driving me nuts.

Can't create views, edit columns, edit title/description, etc. with a
list item.

When I go into Create all I can see is the "Web Pages" heading (Basic
Page, Web Part Page, Sites and Workspaces).

I can still get into Site Settings just fine.

I'm in a group which has "Full Control", looking at the "Full Control"
permissions level everything appears to be checked.

What in the world should I be looking for? Any advice appreciated!
