You could start by telling us where your DB is located and which version
of SQL Server it is ...
Are you sure you have WSS 3.0 and not MOSS ?

Hi,
The search service on my WSS 3.0 site was running fine. I could locate any
item by entering some keywords.
However last weekend I started to see Event ID 2424 and am not sure why.
Both the Service and Content Access accounts are the same, a domain account.
I even gave the account the db_owner role to both the content and search
databases but to no avail.
Otherwise the WSS 3.0 is functioning fine.
Any idea where to start looking?
Thanks.
