If all of the SharePoint documents are in SQL, then why can we use the Windows Explorer view from a document library and access documents by opening Start-->run and typing the server name and navigating to them?
\\server\sites\sitename\document_library_name

This is probably right in front of me, but I can't seem to figure it out.
Where are uploaded documents stored in WSS 3.0? I have searched on the
physical server and not there, searched out on the web for info but haven't
had any success. I'm stumped.
Is SQL swallowing all of these documents?
