Hi Rey,
the /site path seems to be a site collection and or a sub-site.
This can't be seen in IIS as this are virtual directories and subfolders in ISS.
The only way you could see this is through the Sharepoint administrative tools.
Yes,
WSS 2.0 and WSS 3.0 can exist on the same box, and the most usual cause of this is when you do an gradual upgrade.

Howdy all.
Totally new to Sharepoint...have WSS 2.0 on our sql server machine at
work and also on the file server...
Have several questions.
On the SQL Server box, I created a top level site just for learning
named SharePointTest along the /site path. Created a FirstDocLibrary
to which I uploaded a file so I could see what the /site path was..
Where can I find the files as there is no entry in the wwwroot if
inetpub directory on server.
Also, can WSS 2 and WSS 3 reside on the same box?
Thanks,
Rey
