Calendar Add-On

Does anybody know if there is a SharePoint Calendar add on that is
more Ajax driven than the vanilla calender interface that comes with
SharePoint? I want to be able to just click in the calendar and have
a pop-up bubble enable me to create the event. I want to just drag
the timeline for the event to extend it's duration rather than filling
out a form, etc.

THe underlying plumbing that enables calendaring is easily more than
already in SharePoint, I'm just wondering if anyone out there has
created such an enhanced UI to more easily add and manipulate events
in an Ajax driven manner.
