Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Windows Server 2003, sp2
Sharepoint services 3.0

Using single server settings.

I am trying to change the central admin account to a domain account.
When I do that, if i try to navigate to the site, it asks for login
credentials, and the user i made, and my own account (the one i
installed the site with) do not work.

If I use the stsadm command to add the permissions and restart iis, i
get the same problem as if i just do it in IIS.

Right now since i have done that I am getting event viewer errors
regarding my SSEE database.

How can I edit the SSEE database to use the domain account that i
added?
