Re: Integrating InfoPath03/WSS3/SQL05

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hi Luke,

Thank you for the reply. Maybe I'm missing the point or not explaining
myself properly. Yes, I can upload the form (XSN file) to a Form Library
and it will be available to everyone. When someone fills out the form the
data is submitted to the database. But then there's no way to reopen the
form with that data from within SharePoint. There is no list showing the
data in the database. What I need is to be able to fill out an InfoPath
form, submit it's content, and have a list of entries where I can select
one, open it, and see the whole form filled in with that data. This is
exactly the behavior I get if I save an InfoPath form's data as an XML file
into a Document Library. Only instead of saving a file, I want the data in
a database so I can run other queries and reports that I can't run on XML
files. I hope that makes sense. Is this possible?

Hi John,

Can you upload such a form in the Form Library? We can upload such a form
template in the form library. When user open in from sharepoint site, they
can fill data and submit to SQL server, can this work for your solution?

Sincerely,

Luke Zhang
