\viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs20 Hi Jess,
\par
\par Thanks for posting here.
\par
\par From your post, I understand your concern is that you would like to know whether WSS 3.0 and SPS server 2003 can be installed on the same server.
\par
\par If I am off base, please feel free to let me know.
\par
\par Based on my research, it depends on whether SPS 2003 and WSS 3.0 are using the same virtual server. Please deploy them on different sites in IIS. From that way, they can be installed on the same server.
\par
\par Hope it helps. If you need any help, please feel free to let me know.
\par
\par Expect your reply and have a great day!
\par
\par Thanks & Regards,
\par

\par We are excited about the improvements MOSS 2007 has to offer, and are making
\par plans to upgrade our SharePoint Portal Server 2003 environment later this
\par year. In the meantime, we would like to start introducing some of the new
\par technology to our users by deploying WSS 3.0 in our current, SPS 2003
\par environment.
\par
\par Has anyone already done this? Are there issues to consider? We would install
\par WSS 3 on its own server, so there should be no software install conflicts,
\par etc.
\par
\par We would like to "integrate" the WSS 3 team sites to the SPS 2003 portal if
\par we could, meaning having the navigational link back "Up" to the Portal, as
\par well as having Portal index the WSS 3 team sites content.
\par
\par Easily done? Any issues?
\par
\par Thanks!
