WSS3.0 - This Page has been modified since you opened it. You must open the page again

I recently upgraded an empty WSS2.0 installation to WSS3.0 using
In-Place Upgrade. Then i created a new site and created some pages
inside a folder. One of these pages has a DataViewWebPart that fetches
info from an SQL Server 2005 DB.

This page throws the following error when its first opened (its posted
to from another page where a user presses a button in a webpart -
depending on the button some parameters are passed to this page - the
one with the DV WebPart )

I came across this - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892348

But there is not load balancing setup on my WSS box.

There have been lots of posts on this issue but noone seems to have a
concrete solution. (Any microsoft KB Links anyone?)
