Hey I think I found where you can specify location of SSEE database...

....I have asked here (as others have too) how exactly do you specify where
the database goes if you choose to do a standalone or basic install of WSS
3.
You could do a command install of WSS 2 and use the /datadir parameter to
specify what partition, drive, whereever you want the local database to go.
And in WSS 3, that command line parameter is gone. No longer supported. So
how do we small business supporters do a single server install and specify
that the database (which can grow to be four gigs big before choking) goes
somewhere other than under the Windows directory?
Well, I am doing a lot of research on WSS 3. So today, while going step by
step through the help files that are available only during install and
config (seriously, they are better written than most of the stuff on
technet, and only found <as far as I can tell> during the wizard), I came
across a help page that hints it can be done.
The help file, during choosing the server type, stand-alone, says that when
you choose the data location, it's not just for the index files but also
*for the database itself*.
Has anyone tried this?? The reason why I might have a doubt, is the path it
specifies for the data location is wrong. It says that it stores the data
under %program files%, etc, and I have found that not to be the case.
I don't have time to try it right now, but maybe someone else out there
might?
