Hello Jeff,

A WSS 3.0 site can only use a Membership provider at same time, no multiple
providers are allowed. For your issue, you may consider to enable anonymous
access on a WSS site, your domain user can login with their domain account,
your customer login with anonymous account and with few permission like
read-only.
