Insert own web page into WSS Site

Hi,
Just discovering the benefits of Windows Sharepoint Services V2 (and
hope to use Sharpoint 2007), and have some issue I hope someone can
help me on.
I have developed my own CRM with specifics to my company. After playing
around with WSS I have decided to use that as my "CRM".
However, I have a few questions if I may.
1) Can I "insert" my own web pages (ASP.NET) into the WSS Site?
2) If so, can I get them to talk to a different database other than the
WSS database? The reason for this is that I have replication going on
between the database and a Windows Mobile 5 device.
3) If the pages can be inserted, do I need to convert/create them as a
WebPart?
4) Should I be using Portal Server for this, rather than WSS?
5) Can a WSS Database be MERGE replicated so that the functionalilty
that I current have with the Mobile 5 Device?
Sorry if I sound very confused, I am. I have read a lot of material
which I think has cluttered the thought processes and blocked a clear
path to a solution..
Any help, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Robert
.
