If we could do this, we would be happy. I tried to create a "top-level Web site" using the WSS portion of the SPS server, and then migrating to this. I got the same failure as before. Perhaps I'm not doing this right?

This makes me thoroughly confused because you are saying (at least that is what I am reading) is that you are trying to transfer "My Site" *from* a standalone WSS installation to SPS. Your standalone WSS installation doesn't have My Site.

Sorry, poor choice for an example. When I said "MySite", I wasn't talking about the customization feature in SPS, "My Site". I just meant that if I have a site, "MySite", or "SomeSite", or "SomeOtherSite", that I was having trouble moving it.


I suggest in any case that the SPS newsgroup is the best place for this question as this newsgroup is only for questions that require only standalone WSS and your question relies on knowledge of both SPS and WSS.
