Thanks for your reply.
No, just leave it like that. My "reply" here will warn people (reading down)
where the other thread is.
(One reason for adding to existing threads is to avoid someone [reading up]
reading the first thread and then trying to answer it based on incomplete
information [and probably asking questions you've answered in your
follow-up]. Two good reasons *for* a new posting would be a) a very long
thread that has lost track of the question b) a thread which no-one has
commented on for many days [c) both!]. As always there's never
black-and-white decisions!)

Hi Engelbert,
it is true. Next time I will do that. For know, well, just leave it
like that, or do you think I should reference the threads?

Why not just post this explanation to the existing thread ?
Now we have two threads on the same thing (with no other threads in
between) - which one do you want people to respond to ?

Hi all,
I posted a message yet, but maybe it could be wrongly understood. So
here again my problem...
I have a list with different views about our project working hours. I
want to build one more view that only displays the totals by 'Type of
Consultant' and then 'Workplace'!
Now it looks like this
Sum = 977
Type: Professional
Sum = 305
workplace: Berlin
Sum = 168
....dataentry 10
....dataentry 6
....dataentry ...
....dataentry
....dataentry
....dataentry
workplace: Cologne
Sum = ...
Type: Junior
...
it is annoying to scroll down!
It should look like this:
Sum = 977
Type: Professional Sum = 305
workplace: Berlin Sum = 168
workplace: Cologne Sum = 137
Type: Junior Sum = 672
workplace: Berlin Sum = 372
workplace: Cologne Sum = 300
That's all I want!
Thanks in advance
Daniel
