Hi,
I have a custom document library with thousands of documents uploaded.
As per my new requirement I have to add links to one of my multiline
column and there fore I was trying to change the field type to "URL".
when I do that it looks like the data in other fields is all
interchanged. Is there a better solution to have a hyperlink to a
Multiple line column. What's actually going on when I edit the field
type to URL?
I do not want to delete the existing column and create a new URL coulmn
as I might lose the data. I am trying to change Schema.xml to change
the field type.
Please help.
