Whoa. I don't know if testing a beta product on a production server is a
good idea either. However, stacking two different betas on top of each
other can also cause a lot of problems. You're asking for more problems as
the two unfinished products potentially conflict with each other, in
addition to the problems they would have individually as betas.

What I suggest is to install WSS v3 beta 2 on a server 2003 (or server 2003
r2) machine (not in production), and work with it from there.

With this combination you are in a very very small group of testers, so
there aren't going to be many people able to help you with problems.

I'd suggest posting to the beta newsgroup but I don't know whether to
suggest a WSS beta newsgroup or a Vista one !

Im not sure what the problem is. everything was working fine, and all of
a
sudden I started getting:

HTTP Error 500 - Internal server error.

So I check the server, I notice IIS admin isnt running so when I start

Any ideas? I really need to get this back up and running.. I started

it for testing, now, i actualy really on it. Its a out of the box
installationf for both Vista server, and WSS.
