Answering the final question only. When you create a meeting in Outlook 2003
you have the alternative of saving it to WSS.
In this case a meeting workspace (i.e. in effect an independent site using
the standard Meeting site template) is created.

Hi all,
could anyone let me know all the interaction between Sharepoint
services and outlook?
If you add a task using a "Sharepoint services " web site, and assign
it to someone, does the user really see the task in his outlook??
I don't really understand how this is possible.
Do I need to use Microsoft exchange or not?
Does the user need to have a special email adress (for example in the
domain)? or any email adresse?
Is it possible to create a meeting from Outlook and see it in a
Sharepoint services web site?
An existing one? or will it create a new WSS web site?
thanks for all your answer
Rodolphe
