As it turns out, this is a very relevant topic for me. I was about to
post something today on the same matter. You'll have to excuse me as
I'm not a technical resource, in ah ands on sense, but I should be
able to follow any guidance provided.
I am attempting to create a new site template that dev teams in our org
will use. It will provide a set (9) of web part pages with pre-loaded,
customized lists, doc libraries, etc. I want to make this as simple and
straight forward as possible for folks to use. Part of this approach is
to provide lists of short cuts, nav menus, etc...
In order to avoid having site admins configure links each time a new
site is created, I need relative links.
I seem to missing something from the above stream.
I have the main site page as follows -
http://domain.com/sites/ABSP/default.aspx
The other web part pages are stashed in a doc library. Their paths are
as follows:
http://domain.com /sites/sitename/Sub%20Sites/My%20View.aspx
http://domain.com /sites/sitename /Sub%20Sites/ProjectManagement.aspx
http://domain.com /sites/sitename/Sub%20Sites/ABSPDevelopment.aspx
http://domain.com /sites/sitename/Sub%20Sites/Scrums.aspx
How, using the Content Editor web part or lists can I make this work?
The goal is have the links relative above the site name.
