Hey
I've got a little LAN network consisting of a winXP computer and a windows
server 2003 computer. The windows server 2003 computer is the domain
controller in the domain on my LAN....
I've installed sharepoint on my windows server 2003 computer
While being logged in as Administrator on the windows server 2003 computer
I've created a top-level sharepoint web site (Team Web Site)....
in the "Create Top-Level Web Site" page, I entered this info:
Web Site Address: "helloworld" (with "create the site under this URL"
checked)
Site Collection Owner: "mydomain\Administrator"
That's all input data I gave to the wizard...
After finishing the wizard which created the web site, the finished web site
is displayed...
BUT the web site shown has this error:
"ERROR
WEB PART ERROR
One of the properties of the Web Part has an incorrect format. Windows
Sharepoint Services cannot deserialize the Web Part. Check the format of the
properties and try again"
Remember this is the first sharepoint web site created after I installed
sharepoint on my server... The sharepoint settings are as the installation
configured them.- I haven't done any modifications to the settings...
I did this as Administrator, I'm not sure the Administrator has been granted
the STS_WPG permission, but I think the Administrator account has all the
rights, so STS_WPG isn't necessary
Please help me with this problem
Jeff
