Sharepoint Site Security

Is there an easy way, so sort of webpart, that would allow users to
easily control users who have access to their personal site. I am
pretty new to this, but it seems like I would have to know the user id
and domain of each user. Is there a way that I can select users from a
drop down box that is tied to AD?

Thanks.
