Hello,
I am looking at an incident where a user choose to "Save list as template"
from the "General Settings" of a particular list. User filled in the
name,
title, and description and choose to include content and then clicked OK
button.
In doing this the following occurred:
- An aspx file was saved to their desktop containing one of the particular
views of the list including content and links to other views and options
- The list was no longer on the site
- Template was saved to the site but without the contents of the list e.g.
only columns and views
As a temp workaround
The aspx file has been added to one of the document libraries so that the
content can still be viewed. However, all links are broken as the list no
longer exists on the site.
Is this a known issue and is there any way to convert this aspx file back
into a list?
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Daniel
