Re: Site on the same machine

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hello,

There is no security warning... the page only shows a couple of frames where
the active-x objects were into. When i roll the mouse over the frames, it
says "Click here to activate and use this contol" but, when i click there, it
shows me nothing.

As for the security zone, i've already placed the url
"https://localhost/<application>" under the local intranet and under the
trusted sites zone.

Sorry, I didn't understand that

Note: Most people will not respond to personal e-mail. The idea is to
continue "conversations" here so that everyone just reading will also see
proposed solutions.

That wasn't my ideia... I think I didn't make myself clear... I was
talking
about the reply notifications :) I think i forgot to mark the post to
notify
me on replys and I didn't receive any notification on my e-mail.

So here goes the new explanation...

I have a application on my machine whose front-end runs in a web-page with
active-x objects.

It was working fine until I installed sharepoint. When I did it, i've lost
the acces to the application virtual directory.

I got in touch with support from the application developers and they've
told
me to add the application site to the list of the excluded sites on the
sharepoint administration.

I've done that and now I can access the application front-end. Though, i
can
only see some frames because the active-x objects aren't displayed.

What can I do to solve this?

Thanks for your patience
André
