WSS SQL SERVER LOGIN QUESTION - Only 'sa' can login to SQL

I just setup a second server with SQL 2000 and WSS 2.0. Everything
seems to work OK but the bug-a-boo in my setup is, only the SQL sa User
account can login from the WSS Admin setup page; where you setup a
Content and Configuration database. Not even my administrator account
can access the SQL server from this page. Yet, my SQL enterprise
manager tools use the 'sa' account, Administrator, and a special
account I created just for this purpose. Can anyone tell me what the
proper account configuration needs to be; I don't mind using the 'sa'
account, but would prefer to create a special WSS Database account for
Sharepoint to use.
