Re: What are the SharePoint WMSDE login credentials?

I am using Enterprise Manager to connect to the database on another machine
that has the WMSDE installed. When I try to register the sql server I get
"SQL Server registration failed because of the connection failure displayed
below. ...SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
COnnectionOpen(Connect())."...not a really helpfull message...but it never
gets to the Windows login screen to put in credentials. The only other
option is to try using SQL Server authentication but I don't know what those
credentials are.

So the question is when WMSDE is installed for SharePoint does it use the
Windows account or does it create a SQL Server account? If SQL account, what
is it?

Thanks,
Gery
