Re: Using WSS as Extranet for Customers

I missed the original post on this one, but I'm wondering why the login page wouldn't just be a plain ASP.NET page. When the user logs in, the page can redirect them to their site. You can make it interesting by having the customer sites be sub domains i.e. instead of extranet.ourcompany.com/customer1 they would get directed to customer1.extranet.ourcompany.com. With WSS installed on the server, if it was installed on the default port 80, you will need to add the path to the ASP.NET login app to your managed path list.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
C
