Mike, if you look at the Announcement default view - the initial user's
view

You see the following:

Row1 - Title
Row2 - by Author
Row3 - Body (5 lines by default)

When I created the "News" custom LVWP the initial view is
column-oriented:

Row1 - Title Create Date Summary

What I want is:

Row1 - Title
Row2 - Create Date
Row3 - Summary

The new, edit and display pages are all working fine (I was able to
customize them via Frontpage 2003).

I don't appear to have the same ability to customize the initial
default view.
