Thanks so much for the reply Mark. As you can tell, I'm a novice with
SharePoint and never saw the Gallery until you mentioned it. That seems to
have done it, although I still don't quite understand why nothing would
happen when I tried to add a new Attendee web part.
But it all seems to be working now so I'll put it down to "pilot
error"...
