I could add that if by 'changes be tracked' he means can the user be
alerted, then Alerts no doubt work when 'documents' in Form Libraries are
updated just as they (Alerts) do in Document Libraries.

The final question (Document creation based on the information in the forms)
seems to be more an InfoPath one ...

and we don't do those here ...
