I'm not familiar with the term WSS, but in the sharepoint administration
there's a page to change database connection information. Initially I had
the database on a different server, but I couldn't get the site to see it, so
for testing purposes, I put the database on the local MSDE (that setting
seems to be the only one I can get to work). I put in the database admin
user as sa with the password and submit.
Are there settings somewhere else? Also is there a support number or
something I can call? This is becomming mission critical as the server my
current intranet site is on is on it's last legs.
