Document Collaboration Issue
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
I am currently using WSS without Portal Server. When I check out any type of
document from my Sharepont site and edit it (e.g., in Microsoft Word), it
opens in "read only" format. Then, once changes have been made to the
document, it will not allow you to save the file back to the site/web folder
directly and check it back in. It only allows you to save the file back to
your local machine and then upload a new file. This prevents us from using
any of the version history and version control features. Can anyone help?
